SECRET KASLO COUNCIL MEETINGS

Officially, such meetings are recorded as 'in-camera meetings', and as such should deal with matters which are litigious (before the courts), land acquisition, and labor/personnel matters.

To the best of my knowledge, there have been two in as many weeks, the latest Monday night of this week at Cr. Susan Hewatt's home. One councilor is reported to have termed the meeting 'a retreat', although it as I put this edition of TSS together, it might be better labeled a 'retreat from public view'.

I am just a simple man so perhaps this stuff all escapes me. But if, just IF, the idea of meeting behind closed doors to discuss the triple 'L' I have referred to, is better done outside of village council chambers, then perhaps there IS an explanation for it. One pundit in the village refers to council as PINS. That would be 'People In Need of Supervision' and that's why you are the superintendent. So, speaking of council...
